Not long ago, I discoverd Ableton Live for the first time. From this discovery I have been on a mission to share with other people what I have learned about this awesome software program.

For over 35 years, I have been playing and performing “live”. As a drummer, I have played in many settings and situations. I love to play and it is really been a cornerstone of my life. Any period of my life has had music performance as a big part of it. I met my wife playing drums. I play every week. It is the highlight of my life.

The more things change the more they stay the same. Not sure who said that first but music has been a part of my life since I was a kid. The discovery of Ableton Live has brought music back to my life … front and center. The reason is that I can now create and play music whenever and wherever I am. [asuming I have my computer and all the tools] This is taking me back to the small groups and the thrill of playing music for people you know and love.

My vision is to continue to play the drums but to enhance that with computer performance. We are working now to create music based experiences that include elements of DJing, VJing [video jockey], and KJing [karaoke jockey] into one seamless experience.

Hold on for the ride. It should be fun and, I believe, the Ableton software will continue to be a fundamental part of what we are creating.
